Last Saturday we were so grateful to be able to re-launch our series of monthly in-store gigs! It's been almost 2 years since the last one so it was actually quite emotional to see live music in here again.
Also importantly, your donations that evening raised enough to fund 3 weeks of free counselling sessions for young people in your local community. So a big thank you to those who donated, the artists who played & all who helped out with the event. You're doing important work, so keep it up!
First on was PJ who did a set of covers which had the really supportive crowd singing along.
Then we had Katy For Kings who stunned the audience with her faultless voice. She mixed some crowd pleasing covers with some beautiful original songs. This girl is gonna be a star.
Our headline act were Bestdays favourites Greebo who know their way around a chorus and whose spoken word punk sound was accompanied buy a permanent mosh.
