Bleeding Ears and Chiselled Cheekbones

Dec 2, '21
Thanks to Everyone that braved the freezing rain to come to our in store gig! I think you'll all agree it was totally worth it. X
And a special thank you to our performers. The Colchester music scene is alive and kicking (and screaming and sometimes standing on a chair shouting)

Our first act was Honey Scott who did the classic baller move of playing a few covers mixed in with some damn good originals. I left a fan and judging by the audience response so did everyone else.
Main Support was Fraser Morgan who has to be one of the most charismatic performers we've ever had play in the shop. It's a really difficult skill to hold an audience's attention when it's just you and an acoustic guitar but Fraser had us by the balls. Purely metaphorically I promise. His version of SmashMouth's  All Star brought the house down (again metaphorically, it's actually a shop) and when he brought attention to the poignant lyrics from a Pinegrove song my heart melted a little.
Our headliners Noise J'Adore sent us home with a ringing in our ears and a smile on our faces. They have the chiselled cheekbones of models and the raw power of early Nirvana. If you like your rock spontaneous and turned up to 11 then these are the boys for you. As for the audience quite frankly I've never seen head banging like it. Props to the 2 Seans at the front giving it stacks. I hope your necks have recovered.
